Don't you think that the other 148 dogs and 20 mushers were as important as Balto and Togo? Nobody seems to have interest of knowing who the other dogs and mushers where,I mean, how many people knows who Bill Shannon, Edgar Kallands, Dan Green were? (they were mushers on the serum run).
